Custom applications / practical delivery

SSO integration and team access.

A successful sign-in is only the start. The person needs the right application access, an understandable invitation and a workable path when their role changes or they leave.

Start with one account journey

Faith Forge Labs can review and implement a bounded identity connection or team-access improvement for an application. We begin with the affected task, the application owner and the person authorized to approve identity changes. A first scope might connect an existing identity provider to one application, clarify an invitation flow or replace an unclear role assignment.

We inspect the actual provider, account plan, administrative permissions, application support and existing configuration before promising an implementation. OpenID Connect or SAML may be relevant where the systems support them; the protocol name alone does not establish compatibility. The OpenID Foundation overview explains OpenID Connect's authentication role.

Agree what the project delivers

We separate authentication from authorization. A person who can sign in should not automatically see every record or perform every action. The application still needs appropriate checks on requests, files and connected actions, as described in OWASP authorization guidance.

Include the difficult account states

Use isolated accounts to test an accepted invitation, an expired link, a denied action and a role change. Include a recovery case and an authorized administrator fallback before changing the ordinary access path. Staff departures may require action in the identity provider, application sessions and separately connected accounts. We document which systems were checked and what remains pending rather than promising that one sign-out command ends every session.

Existing user records, business ownership and integrations need deliberate treatment. The business approves who may gain or lose access, while the implementation follows those decisions. A denied test must remain denied; broad grants are not a substitute for understanding an error.

Commission a reviewable first result

Bring the application names, current provider if known, a safe description of the problem and an authorized decision owner. Do not submit credentials, tokens or recovery codes. Fees, provider charges, access, support and change timing are agreed for the actual project. No vendor partnership, certification, passkey implementation or security/compliance guarantee is implied.

Use the account-lifecycle planning guide to prepare the decisions, or discuss an access improvement. Faith Forge Labs is US-based and delivers this work remotely.
